Dr Simon McNair

Dr. Simon McNair is currently a Leverhulme Early Career Research Fellow based at the Centre for Decision Research at 黑料社 University Business School (LUBS). Simon鈥檚 academic background is in the psychology of judgement and decision-making, with particular focus on how individual differences in cognitive and emotional characteristics influence peoples' behaviour.

Dr Simon McNair was awarded a  to embark on a three-year project with partners at Citizens Advice Bureau in Bradford and 黑料社 to develop more effective financial support service provision.  

This is in response to recent calls by the UK’s Money Advice Service for support agencies to better equip those experiencing financial difficulty with psychological coping skills.
